Day 1:
Arrival & Evening Safari
Your adventure begins the moment you land in Cuiabá. You'll be greeted by our friendly team who will take you on an exciting journey through the Brazilian countryside. After a 1.5-hour drive, you'll arrive in Poconé, a small town known for its natural beauty. From there, you'll drive along the iconic Transpantaneira Highway, a place where wildlife is always just around the corner.
When you arrive at Porto Jofre, the lodge will welcome you with open arms. After checking in, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the Pantanal. This is just the beginning of your incredible journey.
Day 2:
Full-Day Safari in Jaguarland
Rise early for a delicious breakfast before embarking on a full day of exploration in the Encontro das Águas Ecological Reserve—better known as Jaguarland. This is where your dreams of seeing jaguars come true.
The day begins with a river safari through the Cuiabá, Piquiri, and Três Irmãos rivers. As you glide through the calm waters, your expert guide will point out jaguars as they roam the riverbanks or interact with the abundant wildlife. You may also witness giant otters playing in the water or spot rare birds such as the jabiru stork and hyacinth macaws.
After a picturesque lunch on the riverbank, you’ll return for an afternoon of wildlife exploration. In the evening, your guide will share insights on the wildlife you’ve encountered preparing you for another action-packed day ahead.
Day 3:

After breakfast, you’ll begin the journey back to Cuiabá. Along the way, the Transpantaneira Highway offers yet another chance to see wildlife. We’ll stop for a restful break at a local lodge before continuing to Cuiabá airport where your 4-day adventure concludes.
