These Terms & Conditions govern bookings with Journey with Jaguars PTE LTD (“we,” “our,” “us”). By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Booking & Payment

To confirm a booking, a 25% deposit is required via wire transfer. The remaining 75% is due no later than 14 days before the safari start date.

For bookings made within 30 days of the start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit and the following:
- Full names of all guests (as per passport)
- Any dietary restrictions or medical/special needs

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds on the deposit are as follows:

More than 60 days before departure: 50% of deposit refunded
59–45 days before departure: 25% of deposit refunded
44 days or fewer before departure: No refund

There are no refunds for:

Missed accommodations or services without prior notice
Delays or changes to the itinerary due to weather, logistics, or circumstances beyond our control

We reserve the right to substitute accommodations or alter routes if necessary for operational reasons, including overbookings or unforeseen conditions. Any such substitutions will be of similar or superior quality.

3. Travel Documents & Visas

It is your sole responsibility to obtain valid passports, visas, health documents, and vaccinations as required by your country of origin and Brazil. We are not liable for costs or disruptions resulting from non-compliance.

4. Insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, curtailment, medical emergencies, evacuation, lost baggage, and Force Majeure.
To benefit from pre-existing condition waivers, purchase your policy within 15–21 days of your initial deposit.

5. Force Majeure

“Force Majeure” refers to events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, civil unrest, pandemics, strikes, or government actions.

If your tour is affected by Force Majeure, we will notify you promptly. We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations due to these events. At our sole discretion, we may offer:

Rescheduling
Modifications to your itinerary
Partial refunds (where possible, but not guaranteed)

6. Assumption of Risk

By booking with us, you acknowledge that safaris involve inherent risks, including interactions with wildlife, remote travel, and unpredictable conditions.

Journey with Jaguars PTE LTD, its directors, staff, and affiliated contractors are not responsible for:

Injury, illness, or death
Loss or damage to personal belongings

You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically fit to participate and have sought appropriate medical advice before travel.
